African Diaspora: Jacob Lawrence: The Glory of Expression Film Screening

collaboration with L and S Video, the Auburn Avenue Research Library (AARL) and
Hammonds House Museum will host a screening of the documentary film, Jacob
Lawrence: The Glory of Expression. Made just a few years before his death (June
9, 2000), Jacob Lawrence, one of the most important artists of the 20th
century, opened his studio to documentary filmmaker, Linda Freeman, offering
unique access inside the work of this great American Modernist. All ages.
